Gear change effect abs?

I had 456 gears install in my truck, along with a 6" Fabtech lift. I had a 355LS rear end stock. I still have the stock tires and 17" wheels on the truck (2003 4WD F150 SPORT) because my mechanic was going to get an alignment before he put on the new 35" tires. On the way back to his garage from the alignment shop he said an ABS code appeared on the dash. He thinks it could be from running the small tires with the 456 gears. He wants to mount the 35's and try clearing the code. The problem is I need an inspection sticker, so I need this problem fixed. Has anyone heard of this type of problem before?? Please let me know.

Thanks

I'm curious to know this as well. I've been having ABS problems since I've lifted my truck and re-geared it to 4.88

i'm guessing it can be correctable via custom tuning. remember, your stock pcm tune is outta whack w/ the huge tires, and low gears.

Cashel - Did you get a tuner to adjust the speedometer or is your truck still stock as far as tuning goes?

canned tunes suck. ideally, you want a custom tune for your application/mods. there's a whole forum on here dedicated to this topic. poke around over there, and you may find what you're looking for.
