grind clunk

When I go from 2 wd to 4wd at any speed, say over 5 mph, I get a grinding then a clunk. I have no problems if I am stationary or just rolling, it engages perfectly. I tried lubing up the vacuum pod and shaft on the front but it did not seem to help. There also seems to be lots of movement in the fork or is the only wat to diagnose that is to pull the fork right out? It seems to engage to well when not moving to be a vacuum problem.

Yeah, it really isn't a good sound. I think I have it figured out that it is the electric clutch. I checked at the harness to see if it is getting any power and it is so there must be a problem with the clutch itself. Just hoping to hear from someone who has gone through this problem before.

I tried to swearch for electromagnetic clutch the other day and it says that I have too many characters in electromagnetic to do the search. I'm going to try another web site to see if I have any better luck.
