I noticed spots on my driveway and I found a leak that appears to be coming through the u-joint where it attaches to the differential. I researched through the internet and have come to the conclusion that it's the pinion seal.
My question is how difficult of a job is it going to be to do myself? I don't even know for sure if that's what it is. The leak appears to have stopped so does that mean that the differential fluid leaked out? What I would like is for someone to put in laymans terms what I need to do to remedy the problem since I have never worked on a differential before. I appreciate any help I can get...thanks.
