They have NO tread on the sidewall at all... I kinda need something with a little bite on the sides to help.

Will the 315/75/16 Mickey Thomppson MTZ's fit on 16"x10" wheels? Or are the 10" wheels too wide for the 75?

the MTZ's will fit nicely on a 10" wide wheel but trust me they are NO-WHERE near as good offroad as Buckshots, TSL, SSR If you want a Super Aggressive tire with a nice sidewall then take a look at the Pitbull line or the Super Swamper Bogger.

Pitbulls are 13.5 wide for the least wide tires.... And the TSL's are too skinny for my liking. I know skinny tires do best in the mud. But I dont like the look of them on my truck.

yeah Pitbulls are wide and thats why i stayed away from them. Plus they are also Bias Ply. Ive read a few reviews that they last to 30k to 32k miles which isnt bad.

With tires that wide you will need a 10" wide wheel

What about the 36/14.5/16 TLS Radials... Wont the tread pattern be like 11" wide then?

I had tires on my truck like that, same width and they worked damn good in the mud, but I just like the look of a wider tire, if the tread pattern was 11" or so I think they would look much better.

well if you put this same tire on a 10" wheel it will look wider.

The only reason i steer you away from a 36" tire is because of the amount of cutting you have to do to the bumper to make them work. I didnt care about my bumper because it will be getting replaced with a winch bumper.

If you are looking for a wide tread pattern then you will want to look at tires that are 13.5-14.5" wide. Then you will also need new wheels. and you will probably be forced to crank your torsion bar adjustment keys all the way up.

My torsion bars are cranked all the way and I didnt notice a difference in height... I turned them about 3 turns each, cant go any further..... And I want to buy that winch bumper on ebay right now because I have a Super Winch sitting in the garage..... Its either 8 or 9k winch... i just dont have the money at the moment....

I do want new wheels with 4.5" backspacing to give my truck a better stance. So honestly what wheels would you put on some 16x10 wheels? I need tires that work great in the mud, can be driven on pavement, and work in the snow too..... It snows a good bit in Nebraska.. Especially in the country.. When your only option is to try and make it through...Plows and Maintainers do gravel roads last...

after you drive around the torsion bars will stiffen and give more lift.

yes if i was to get wheels they would be 16x10

Id go to www.4wheelparts.com and type in all your trucks specs and see what wheels you like. the bolt pattern is 5x135

Im not sure what to tell you about tires.

BFG KM2's are the best overall MT on the market
Toyo MT is the longest lasting MT on the Market
Super Swamper dominates the serious offroading scene
Pitbull offers some unique tread designs and a long lasting tire... for a bias ply
Maxxis Buckshot mudders are simply the best bang for the buck.
