I'm not trying to hyjack the thread but did the v6 f150's come with an optional 4.10 ratio? I've been thinking about trying to track down a set of axles with 4.10's myself.

 

Decision made, 3.73 to be swapped and 4.10s on the way.

 

Well Im glad I found this thread. I have been thinking about doing a gear swap in mine as well. My biggest hold-up is how much is this gona kill me on the hwy? Mine is a 04 F150 4.6l 2wd auto w/ 265/70/17's. I do a substantial amount of hwy driving so how much is this gonna kill my mpg? Also I guess I should through out there that I am going to be adding a set of 22's (305/40/22) real soon, so what should I expect?
