I filled up on Moday and while I was filling up, I reached in the window and pressed the trip meter reset. Well I was driving home, I noticed it still read 000.0 miles. So I kept pressing it like 100 times to no avail. It was working fine before I reset it. Whats going on?

 

I know on my 2007 you have to hold it in until it resets all zeroes then release. Yours might be hung up. You can try this

 

I believe the 98 uses a mechanical odometer with separate trip meter. Your 07 is all electronic.

 

Yep, the '98 is mechanical/seperate.
In '99 they went to electronic/toggle.

1998 is the last year you could peak through the drivers window and read the mileage.
