Installing gears in a 9.75" rear..and what are best gears???

I have done gear installs in a 8.8" rear before in Mustangs is it the same for a 9.75"? What are the best gears to buy? I want to get some 4.10's to replace my stock 3.55's.

i had 3:55's and i went to 4:10's..of course you lose top end but if the race is over by then who cares.. i like to feel the torque with these gears..from what i understand they are very similar to the 8.8

I used Motive Gears on my 9.75 rear (and 8.8 reverse cut front). I also used a master install kit on them due to mileage. If you can do gear swaps on 8.8's, you can do them on 9.75's. Same basic design, only larger. I am very pleased with the Motives. Quiet and did not change my fuel mileage.
