Im thinking about buying a mag hytec diff cover for my 9.75. Has anyone ever had a mag hytec leak??? They are sealed with an Oring, instead of a gasket or sealent. I have heard everyone saying how great they are but are they really worth 250 big ones?

I did do some searching on this subject and couldnt find anything about them leaking...so either they are good....or people dont want to admit that there 250$ diff cover leaks But any help would be nice, thanks again guys!

 

I have Mag hytech both on my diff and tranny. They are great, and I have zero leak issues. I even got to go test em out this weekend doing some light wheeling bashing em around and putting them through some abuse. Held up great. Josh over at Sportxtrailers.com can get a pretty good deal. Both the diff cover and trans pan have been on for several years with no leaks. They really are great products. The O-ring works great, just don't over tighten the cap screws.

Did you call josh? I already posted a number where you might be able to get it cheaper. He had some out here in CA when I called so it was like $200 each delivered. Like I said, tell him you are a member on this site, and then tell him what you want and what you have found em for. If he can't help you would have wasted all of 2 minutes...
