Any Wheel Bearing/Hub Change How-To??

Does anyone know where I could Find a How to On replacing The front Wheel Bearing and Hub assembly? My local shop wants just over $400 otd to do it, I think I'll do this one myself since I can Order a GOOD Bearing assembly from Summit for $200.

I have a '01 4x4 F150 Screw. And Yes, I searched

go pick you up a chilton and hayes. i used their book and redid mine.

oh yeah, get

a dead blow hammer
pb blaster
thread lock
cutting torch
bbq pit
pint of so comfort 100%
antisieze

use the cutting torch to light the bbq, take 3 shots of so com and then start the work....

nothing really hard about it. trust me and get the deadblow hammer though, makes getting the hubs ALOT easier to get off

Wow, I just Went And bought a Chilton and there is Literally 8 steps to the Process...Theres no effing way I am paying someone $400 to to this!!

Now For the SoCo and BBQ, Maaaan I wish it wasnt 30 degrees outside!!!

not to hi-jack but was the lift a hard install??????
Ps:Im in waterford and go to silver lk alot......

It wasnt bad, It did take all day though, I basically Sat Back and watched a few of my buddies do it, So for me, the hardest part was waiting

Done In the driveway...

And FYI, that spindle nut is 35mm. You probably already have the socket though from doing your lift.

I just did one on my 97 f150.Was not bad at all except the rotor would not come off the hub.If bolts all come out can me done in 30-40 minutes, from start to finish.I used a 1 3/8 on the axle spindle nut.

my problem when i did mine was the hub came out without the bearing. hmmm
