What do 04 FX4s come with for stock gears??? Is it the same as Lariats?? Thanks

 

3.55 or 3.73. If it has 18" rims, then it came with 3.73. With 17" rims, it could be either. Look at the door code. If the 2 digit code ends in 9, it is 3.55. With a 6 it is 3.73. Has 2 numbers, it is an open diff. With a letter then a number, it is a limited slip.

 

Thanks. Somene was telling me they thought they came with 4.10s but I had never heard of that coming stock.

 

The only way it could come with 4.10s is if it has the 8200lb payload package.
