2004 Front diff

What type of front differential is used on 2004 FX4? Is it Dana 44?

i believe the front diff is a Sterling Reverse Cut 8.8"

up front you have a 8.8 rev. cut IFS front diff, they havent used the dana 44 since 96

Thanks for the info.
So lockers for 8,8" will fit to the front?
How many splines are in the front and how many at rear diff?

the front has 28 splines, and it depends on what axle you have in the rear, if you have the 9.75 it will have 34 splines if you have the 8.8 rear then it will have 31
