what does TL stand for?

what does TL stand for?

My axle is 3:55 TL does this stand for traction lock? My axle code is 19 if this helps? If so is that the same as LS limited slip?? confused? Also would the front be the same?

If your axle code is 19, you have an open diff. If it was a limited slip, it would b a letter and a number, like H9.

I`ll have to double check that! Yup, door sticker says 19!

WHERE are you seeing this??? TL would be an abbreviation of TractionLok; the name of the Eaton limited slip that Ford uses. Check the axle tag. Maybe it got swapped.
