Unhappy Tons of wheel bearing grease

2000 F150 XLT, ORP, 4x4. Has anyone else had a problem with the front c/v boot throwing grease out of it. My truck has only 3000 miles on it and I am kind of pissed, Made an appointment to have it checked out for tuesday. What is going on here.

Unhappy

The boot is damaged. The shaft will need to come out and have the joint cleaned, re-lubed, and re-booted.

There are on-the-vehicle 'fixes', but I wouldn't settle for one (usually involves a slit boot that is vulcanized (crazy-glued) together and hose-clamped -- the flex is different around the boot and it will fail quicker than a normal boot.

Fix it before water gets in and ruins the joint.
