Can I get by without LS
Can I get by without LS
First post!
I have found a GREAT deal on a new 150 King Ranch. It is exactly the way I would have ordered it, and right now I am at $11K off of MSRP.... 45K truck for 34K, need to do the deal today..... However the only thing the truck does not have is a LS rear axle.... I live in Minnesota, tow snowmobiles and a boat, but don't do any "real" offroading... Can I get by without the LS?
Thanks

Probably. My Lariat is the 4th truck I've owned. It's the only one that's had LS. My 91 Chevy went 187000 miles before I sold it & I never got stuck in the snow. My traction control is 600lbs of sand bags.

I had a 4x4 without rear LS. And hated it. Places I used to have no problem in 4x4 with rear LS were a problem without it. That doesn't mean you can't have LS installed in the rear later. You will notice a difference in the snow.
