Torque specs on ring gear.

what are the torque specs on the ring gear? ive heard a slew of #'s ranging from as little as 50 ft lbs on up over 400 ft lbs. from what ive seen, 50 ft lbs - 70 ft lbs is not enough to suffice my rear end. ive lost bolts from the rear ring twice now. this time its ruined a $150 rear diff cover. anyone wanna help me out here and throw me the correct torque?

What kind of axle is it? 8.8? 9.75? I had a spec sheet that came with my new gears, but I lost it (Sorry). Are you using red loctite on the bolts, and are the threads of the bolt and the ring gear completely dry/free of oil?
Whenever I use loctite on something, I clean it off with brake cleaner first, then dry it off with air, then apply the loctite. Loctite can't stick/hold oil.
