Factory torque spec?

Does anybody know what the factory torque spec is for the nut that holds the rotor on the spindle shaft?

If you're talking about the big nut with the cotter pin, don't torque it. Tighten snug, then loosen enough to line up the hole to put the cotter pin through.

While turning the wheel/rotor, torque to 17-24 FOOT pounds.
Then, with wheel rotor stopped, loosen nut and re-torque to 17 INCH pounds.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... slow down guys.... Are we talking about a 2wd or a 4x4? Completely different nuts, but both have cotter pins and retainers. I'm assuming we're talking about a 2wd because you said, "the nut that holds the rotor on the spindle shaft." On a 4x4, the nut doesn;t hold the rotor to the shaft, soooo.....

For a 2wd, it's in 3 stages: 30 ft*lbs, 17-24 ft*lbs, and then 17 in*lbs like they mentioned above.
