Who has replaced with manual T-Case

Anyone with an 04+ (new body style) replace their electronic 4x4 with a manual transfer case?

2 things I want on this thing

1) Solid front axle
2) manual lever T-Case

Buy a superduty?

I like the size, look, and feel of the f150 just want to change a couple things.

Well, the only way to get what you want is a hefty monetary investment or buy a SD.

buy a F250 or F350

they come stock with solid front axel's and manual locking hubs, manual transfer case

the F150 4x4 anymore is pretty weak

Thats my question too. I love my 97 F250 LD. The style, and especially the color, but it has shift on the fly, auto hubs. Is this weak? I had an 86 F150, manual hubs, shift for the trans case, and I felt very comfortable with that. Is the 150 a truck to build, or buy a HD 250? Is the suspensions able to keep up if you lift them put big tires on them, and go off road??

The auto case on the LD250 is no weaker mechanically than the ESOF. The ONLY difference is in the engagement: A motor versus a lever. The rest of the system (front axle engagement) is still controlled by the GEM.
