Post Eaton posi fyi

The Eaton unit is the preferred traction aiding device among the Buick GN guys. It's touted as the strongest TAD available, as well as rebuildable. It's also what came STOCK in turbo Regals with the G80 (posi) code in the '80s, although since then, it's been updated and improved.

I've heard a while back that Eaton has a version that will fit in the Ford 8.8. But nobody could provide any additional info on it. So I contacted Eaton directly. Here's my original query...
There's a rumor going around that there is an Eaton posi that has just been released for the Ford 8.8" rear end. Is this true? If so, what is the part number and where can I get more info about it?
And their response...
Mr. Lyons,
Thank you for your interest in Eaton differentials. I apologize for the delayed response. You are correct. The part number is 19588-1. Please refer to www.eatonposi.com for a full list of our distributors.

Best Regards,
