CV boot tornb again... cranked torsion bars

ok, i've got a 04 f150 4x4 heritage model. got a 3 " body lift on it with 33" swampers...
i have cranked my torsion bars a bit to level it out, but nothing drastic. i have 14000 miles on the truck, and a few weeks ago i noticed a cv boot torn on the drivers side and had ford replace it under warranty...

well, i was out yesterday, and i noticed that the entire boot slipped otu from under the clamp on the engine side of the boot... wtf! is there a better aftermarket boot out there? i can't seem to find any of them anywhere!
i'd like to get something with maybe a bit more flex or something that can take the 4x4 abuse (not that i abuse it... i just drive down muddy roads when i go hunting...)

any help is appreciated!

daniel

this should not happen the boot should stay on and i have never had a problem with the boot tearing or coming off it sound to me like the shop instaled it wrong, i would take it back to have them fix it, good luck

well, it's back in the shop as of about 20 min ago. they're replacing it again... most likely replacing the whole left axle.

so you guys say you've never had problems with them... but do you guys have your torsion bars cranked?

well, the problem i have now is that i need a winch mount for my truck
if anyone knows of one for sale, let me know. i'm looking for either a front receiver hitch setup, or a warn semi-hidden winch mount kit.

thanks!
