I am repairing an 04,4x4 with a damaged CV rubber boots. Today I picked up a pair of new boots from my Ford dealer. To my supprise there were no clamps with the boots. When I called them back they said the clamps were quite expensive. The clamps cost more than the boots!!!
The aftermarket clamps are not wide or strong enough, so my mechanic said.
Any other way out of this?
