8.8 ?

8.8 ?

Is the 8.8 in the F150 #19 rear end a 28 spline ?

No. All F-150's with 9" and 8.8" produced 1976 and after should be 31-spline axle.

To my knowledge Mustangs and Rangers with the 8.8" are 28-spline. My 94 Ranger with 8.8" is 28-spline.

Darn it I bid on a locker for a 28 spline on ebay for a 8.8 ! Hope some one out bids me on it now! :o

If for some strange reason you win the bid, my son has a 99 Ranger with 8.8". He wants to install an Eaton-Posi or Auburn in it. Let me know if you win the bid. gearmanx17

Eaton-posi is a great unit I just installed it in my Mustang 3 months before I trade it in. Check out rearendparts.com they are right around the corner from me and the owner is really nice and helpfull. Has every rear end part you need. I got the Eaton from him last Dec. for $365.00 + tax and its new.
