Performance clutch for '98 F-150 w/ 4.6?

Help, I've got a customer that's asking for a performance clutch for their 1998 F-150 with a 4.6. They've got a few bolt ons so they don't want to put a factory one back in.

Who makes the best clutch for that application? I could start calling the manufacturers but they're all gonna say they're the best!

Help?

(sorry if this is the wrong forum, I wasn't sure)

I like Centerforce, or if you can find a King Cobra that will fit that application that would be a good one too.

I was thinking King Cobra too (I'm an FRPP dealer) but the customer said the FRPP Tech said the Mustang 4.6 clutch would not work. I was like, eh? (and I'm not even canadian!)

Yeah I haven't looked at the specs of a king cobra so I don't know if they will fit or not. But Centerforce is good too if it will not

The only reason I could come up with why it didn't fit is because the F-150's use a Mazda tranny and the throw out bearing will be different, but other than that it should work, you might want to check on that though

Centerforce duel friction or Spec.
http://www.centerforce.com/
http://www.specclutch.com/

The 2000 F-150 uses the Centerforce TO bearing #52010 and so does the Mustang. it could be the travel that is different. If you search the centerforce site for part numbers and specs you will find thet the cobra and the GT both have the same input shaft specs as the F-150. The F150 however has an 11½ inch clutch where the GT has a 10 inch and the Cobra an 11 inch.
