Hey Guys, just bought a 97 4.6 4x4. Have a winding coming from the back only when accelarating and driving. You can't hear when starting of but it gets louder and is constant as you speed up. My first guess is the rear end? But I worry it my be the tranny? Any help would be greatly apreciated.

 

Sounds like the inner pinion bearing in the rear end.
