If you have a Mag-Hytech cover, come on in. . .

I installed a Mag-Hytech diff cover on my truck last weekend and absolutely love it. However, I'm having one BIG issue with it. After installation, I can't seem to get my spare tire to fit anymore. When it's locked in position, it hangs over the cover by about 1/2 inch. When my suspension compresses, the tire is pushing down on the diff cover. Needless to say I am not content with this. Has anyone else discovered this problem when they added a Mag cover? I called them today and spoke with the manager who told me he's never heard of this issue with F-150's. By the way, my spare tire is the OEM 265/75/17 Badyear.

I think the covers are built very well, but for my Expy, when I called they told me that I would have to remove my rear sway bar because it would hit the cover.

I thought that was odd...

It states on their website that their covers may not work with aftermarket swaybars. However, it says nothing about not being compatable with the OEM spare tire. I know more guys on this list have these covers. Did any of you have any issues with your spare tire? Anyone. . .

No problems with my spare. Check your email. My truck is a 2WD but other than that it is the same as yours.
