9.75 help

hello all I need some help, I just got a great deal on a 9.75 3.73 with the trac loc in it, I'm told its out of a 04 2004 f150 because of the 6 lugs. the rear end is brand new and is complete rotor to rotor with calipers. My question is I have a 93 bronco with 8.8 in it , Is this swap worth it. I unders stand i need to move spring perches and shock mount locations, along with having the axles done. Any help would be appreciated

thanks

In my opinion the swap is worth it. The '04 rear end is far stronger then what's currently in your Bronco. The larger ring and pinion will also allow for any future power upgrades you may want to do.

Your mileage and highway drivability will suffer though. The taller gears will cause the engine to peak out sooner. When you pass someone you'll notice this. It will rev higher at cruising speed as well.

Ultimatly I say go for it! Assuming your Bronco is 4X4 (most are) keep in mind you may have to upgrade your front diff as well. Especially if your into offroad fun.

Aww.. bro you failed to mention THAT in your original post. In that case the swap is worth it!
