Question how to change to a limited slip rearend

I have a 1997 f-150 4.2, 2 wd and i was wondering if it is worth the time and money to install a limited slip rear end, and what kind of money and time would i expext to pay, or can i do it myself????

It becomes more worthwhile if you change gear ratios at the same time. Cost should be around $700 and more like a grand with gears. You can also junkyard shop for entire rear ends.

price all depends on what brand you want and the labor they charge at the shop, install is not that hard
