i was told that in my 94 F150 XLT 2wd auto. that i have a 8.8 axle in the rear. If this is correct then do i also have a 28 slpine? And does Detroit sell a limited slip for this type of axle. i know they sell a full locker for the 8.8, but do they for posi too? im trying to get a limited slip for some non-serious mudding and would love to find a good name brand locker for this. Thanks for any help what so ever.

 

The '93 I had (5.0L) was equipped with the 8.8" diff. It's possible for yours to have one too. As for 28 spline, I doubt it. I think trucks and Mustangs get 31. I'm not sure.

If there is a local shop, they should be able to tell you. Just call and ask.
