alignment affect MPG?

Can an out of aligned truck cause bad mpg? It has never been done since i've owned the truck. I had a post up about bad mpg on my 97 4.6 where i was getting 10.5 mpg with an af1 intake, chip and magnaflow true dual exhaust. well i hit 9.75 the other day. I used to get 13.5 last winter with the samething minus the chip and exhaust. I was jus curious if a truck wasn't aligned properly could it cause bad mpg?

It could, but not to that extent and it would have to be way out to affect it, there has to be another reason.

When was the last tune up? how are the plugs?
Could your foot be a little heavier with the newer mods?

no foot isn't heavier its been lighter. I had a whole post on the loss of mpg. I added tires but my loss of mpg started way before that. I think its this magnaflow muffler to be honest. Things were relatively fine before that.
