T-Case Fluid
I just bought 16 quarts (4 gallon jugs) of Mercon-V for my transmission....can I use the leftover Mercon-V in my transfer case? My book just calls for a multipurpose ATF in the transfer case. Thanks.

I used Amsoil ATF in my 1999 F150 but it meets both MERCON and MERCON V specs. My truck is not under warrenty though.
My Haynes manual says MERCON automatic transmission fluid.
