New screw with rear axle seal leak-replace seal or new rearend?
This is the second part to my earlier post. As mentioned, I have a rear seal leak and my 5 day old truck only has 500 miles on it. Therefore, since this seems like a very common problem that lasts even after a ford tech fixes it, I was wondering if I sould just go ahead now and replace whole rearend with eaton gears and whole new rearend? Whats everyones thoughts? I would like to wait until after warranty, but dont want the headaches. I cant believe I have the rear axle leak after 500 miles. I am so frustrated. Please help
