Mag-hytec
Got my Mag-Hytec delivered today and installed it as soon as I made sure it was the correct one. First off this thing is one quality piece and very well made install was very simple and pain free after removing old cover that was ugly as heck rusted paint chipped off. The Mag-Hytec was easy to install after cleaning all old gasket material off and cleaning old oil out just apply a small amount of oil to the o-ring put in place and put the supppliedallen head bolts in starting at the top then one on the bottom then the rest. Next tighten all bolts by hand until they get flush with the cover then tighten withw torque wrench in an alternating crisscross pattern then remove dipstick and add fluid until full took about 4 quarts of oil which is aroound 2 quarts more than with the stock unit. I will post pictures of it on the truck and post them to my Gallery once I get my film developed.

Hey, mine should be here tomorrow. What kind of fluid did you use? I was going to use Amsoil 75W140. The guy said it would take almost 5 qt's. Your's took 4? You do have the 9.75 right? Just checking. Did you fill up to the bottom of the factory refill hole or did you just use the dipstik in the cover?
On a side note, how do you like the area your in? Are you at Travis? I'm coming to Travis in Aug (2nd time) and I am really dreading looking for a place to live because homes are rediculous right now. Got any ideas?????

OK let's see if I can answer all your questions:
1.) Redline Fluid 75w140
2.) Yes mine took 4 quarts although I have to check it tody after driving it a bit.
3.) Yes I have the 9.75"
4.) I used the Dipstick like the directions said and did not use the factory refill hole I used th refill hole that is on the cover.
5.) I like the area very much it is a pretty small city Travis is in Fairfield which is the neighboring city to Suisun City. suisun City has a a lot smaller population 30k compared to about 120k. Like most Cities it has its bad areas and its good areas Fairfiled seems to have a more bad. Yes Home prices are way high. I am assuming you are in the military If you don't mind commuting a bit to and from work I would suggest looking towards Dixon or Davis Suisun Doe shave some nice new homes and there a lot for sale in my neighbor hood right now .My neighbor hood is only 4 years old. And ther are man houses going up all over Suisun City.

Hope that helps you out and you can keep my email available if you want any info or what ever. Just go to my gallery for it.
