2003 Mustang GT
just a few questions before i start the job. i have the 4.6 2 valve in the 'stang. first and foremost i am getting ready to replace the plugs. the car has 81,000 on it and it doesn't miss just seems like the fuel mileage is going down a little. of course, i've used ONLY Motorcraft in the many Ford's i've owned. anyway, here it's around 45-50 degrees outside during the day. i have changed the oil every 3,000 miles since i've owned it which it had 27,000 on the ticker.
1. do i have to get the engine at operating temperature before i start?
2. what torque is required?
3. do i use any anti-seize?
4. should i go ahead & replace the COP's?
please don't bash me here, i did search but wasn't sure if i should do the same as what is being done to the F-150's with the same engine. Thanks in advance to all that will help!
