Question for RockPick!
RP,
Your bassically the only one I know to ask this question since you and your wife have the same Tranny in your Explorer V-8 that I have in mine.
My question is, when that tranny in your Explorer shifts gears 1-5, how high does your RMP's normally go to before it shifts if your driving normal? Mines at about almost 3K RPM which seems kind of high?
also when it does finally shift, do you feel it shift pretty bad? Mine almost feels like your driving a stick shift with the movement back and forth you feel when it does shift gears. Does the Explorer you guys have do the same?

I'll be totally honest with you... I rarely drive it so, I'm not certain as to the total overall feel of the vehicle... This question would be much better asked at www.seriousexplorations.com ... sorry.
