Got your cure,

Turn the radio up!
Seriously if it squeaks, or rattles, above 80 decibels. Then you "might" want to go get that one checked out.
Other than that, just drive it!
It's not likely that it's going to fall apart around you or anything.
Your more likely to get hit by lightening.
BUT.... Even if it does fall apart around you. So what! It's under warranty! So don't worry about it! Drive it like that till you can get around to getting it to the dealer!

You are suppose to own the car, right now it owns you.

A quik fix to all your problems is to just turn the radio up real loud. It has sure helpped me ignore the pinion bearing that I need to get replaced until I can find time to do it.

My Ranger has had a fugged lifter for two years If it wasn't just an off-road beater I would fix it. The cure? Turn up the radio until you cant hear the lifter anymore. If you can't hear it, you won't be able to worry about it.

I only got a dumb power train warrenty, which doesn't cover stuff like this in the suspension, just bearings, seals, transmision, and of course entire engine. Figures everything else desides to fail on me like the upper control arms in the rear which are not covered, and lower control arms in the front, that right there to replace is over 1 grand! outch! I did have front bearing go bad, but that was covered but still had to pay a deductable of 100 bucks. It only has 41K on it, I can't believe everything is starting to fail with such low miles on it. Ford tells me that there trucks will last 150K at least without any major work done to them. I'm having a tough time believing that this will last to 100K the way its going. I love this ride, but stop the problems for a while.

Yea I've got a tick/click somewhere in the front end. I'm thinking it's probably either passenger side brake or wheel bearing. But there is no slop in either wheel. I can't get it to do it when it's jacked up and off the ground, only at 10-15 mph. Almost sounds like a nail in the tire, but it does it in gravel parking lots, did it today in a muddy field while looking for a christmas tree, and only at slow speeds. But dosent do it all the time. Only does it when it will embarass me the most. LOL

Only time I hear it is when the radio is off and more so with the windows down. Been doing it for atleast 9 months. Since I don't know what it is I'll drive it til it gets bad enough I can find it or it breaks. (which ever comes first) Meanwhile I keep the windows up and the radio on.

EDIT (OMG FUNNY!):
Maybe you've got a screw loose! HA!
Sorry, had to
That was the first thing that popped in my head too.

Loose Caliper bolt................. screw................ screw loose.

Wifes explorer did that in reverese once or twice, then before I could get it home the bolt came out and I could not back up. The caliper was wedging back on the rotor when the wheel would roll backwards. Worse part was I was in a driveway 12 miles out of town when I found that I could no longer back up, and I had a trailer on behind it.

**UPDATE**

Got back from the dealer today. Heres what happend....took it in, told them the problem with the rear passenger wheel and that it goes away when the brakes are pressed. I told them I was going to wait until it's fixed in the waiting room.

half hour goes by, the service guy comes in, tell me I do have a problem. My drivers side rear Tie Rod is loose and needs replacing. I told them thats not the side I was hearing the problem at though, so he takes off the drivers rear tires, inspects it with me just by looking and says "everythign is tight" and he goes on to say, your probably hearing this tie rod, so I gave him to okay to replace the tie rod hoping he was right on saying thats probably what I'm hearing. The tie rod was not under warrenty so I had to pay out another 344 bucks including another 4 wheel alinment. He takes it for a test run all after it was replaced and said, all fixed, no more noises. I pay, and go on my way to find out that the noise is still there!! I knew that tire wasn't the one giving me problems so now I just wasted another few hundread bucks for nothing! I verified it again to myself on the way home going down a bumpy street that when I press on the brakes just a hair, the noise goes away on the passengerside tire!

what else is new, I got screwed yet again. I paid by check so I'm wondering if I wanna cancel this check since it didn't fix the problem and that the tech pretty much lied and said that was causing the noise, which was not!

I'll jack it up tomorrow myself and get my tool box out and rip things apart myself and see whats wrong!

lol no, its just 2 wheel streering? How come u ask if it was 4 wheel steering though?? That would be cool to have, but they don't even make these at all in 4 wheel steering.

On a side note, after I finish my cup of coffie I have right now, I'm going to go outside and take the passengerside wheel off and try to take the caliper and brake pads off and inspect for any play in them. I just have to figure out what 2 screws take the caliper off.

**another update**

after I took off the passeger rear tire, I found out how to take the caliper off, so I did. Made sure the brake pads were tight, and they were, looked around the wheel well and slaped around things making sure everythign was tight, and it was until I got to the rear just past the rear tire where the gas pump is. I noticed one of the twist ties were broken off that hold 3 big rubber hoses together leading down where you fill your gas up at. I noticed one of the hoses were leaning againest the inside body and if you taped on it slightly, it made a thump againest the body, so I took a twist tie, and startred to pull it away from the body and twist tie it back together with the other 3 hoses.

ha what do you know, that was the problem all along! I don't know why the noise went away with the brakes on, but I'm guessing that when the brakes are on, the braks get rod of a lot of vibration through the truck which could have casued that hose to beat againest the body. Make a long story short, one twist tie solved the problem not no stupid tie rod that dealer said was loose and replaced! I hate throwing money out the door like that

Triton, you are truly a dumbass.

You were thesame guy b!tching 2 weeks ago about vacuum issues because you tiewrapped "loose hoses" together.

So if anything goes wrong with your gasline, I will say it now "shut the ******* up"

First off "dumbass", go back and read my post! I said one of the twist ties were broken off in the frist place on the gas lines which causes it to separate and beat against the body, and all I did was replace the tie so it won't continue to beat againest the body! Shut up and mind your own buisness!

Tritoneer, if you can change the oil and rotate tires, you can do brake pads. They are that simple to do.

I found out today that it would be pretty easy to change pads when I found out how to take the caliper off and inspect the brake pads for place. Next time I need brakes, I'm pretty sure I can handle it, it will save me money to also do it myself which is always a good thing, but I should have enough brake life left in them for another 2 years or so.

Shoot, by that time you will have crashed that thing into the rock in front of your house or the garage, and it will be history. You better go change them now so you can say you did it!
