ok , i got a 87 e 150 van when you hit the brakes with the vehicle running i lose parking and brake lights on one side in the rear, if the ignition is off it works fine.

anyone been through this or just has the magic answer for me?

imagine having to kill the ignition when a cop pulls in behind you to have brake lights for him to see.
