Post Paint Code

What is the name of the paint on my truck if my paint code is E4, is it Bright Red or Vermilion. On my original MSRP sticker, it said Bright Red Claercoat but when I went to the dealer for a for a 4wd front bumper pad, they didn't have one in a Bright Red but instead they have a Vermilion Red. So are these two color the same?

Yes, both are the same color. Plus I think card. red is also the same too.Ford has many red colors that are the same. As long as you go with the color code number E4 you will get the same color you need.Alot of the colors are the same ,but have different years like 97 or 96 ,95 which they change the color names. But the code is the same.

Cool

actually even the color code can be different for the exact same color. A good example is the color you're talking about:
Bright Red Clearcoat E4 was used for the Explorer, Ranger, F150/250
Vermillion EP was used for the F800
Red Clearcoat F1 was for the SuperDuty
ALL of these are the exact same color!!!
