The crack on my 98 was right at the top of the wider black piece, right at the joint where the fat and narrow pieces meet. Not where it is in the picture.

Unhappy

Picture didn't show on my browser. (IE5)
followed link and finally saw the crack everyone is talking about.
Does it affect regular cab?
Does it affect the 99s?
I hope Ford fixed it for 2000
Never mind picture came up after I posted reply

Talking

Maybe we should use "door" in front of crack so we are not asking how long or how bad each others cracks are.....

kkirt cracked me up in his response:

"Is everyone elses crack that bad? Mine is not nearly that long."

Thank You very much for the picture!!! My dealer told me it was my problem and they wouldn't cover, now I have proof that it is a problem with more than just mine. This is the BEST site! If I never found this site I would have been screwed!!!! Thank You Very Much!! -ZRracer
