Question Brake/Tail Light Wiring

Does anybody know the wiring scheme for the back-end brake/tail lites on a 99 F150. I'm wiring my high vision brake light on a fiberglass shell and want to make sure I hit the correct one. Is it easier to come off the trailer brake light instead? Thanks

Wink

When I had my topper installed they took power for the brake light right from the tail lights (driver side) and power for the dome light from the license plate light (must have lights on to use dome light) I'm going to change this.

That was how mine was wired on my my 97. To get hot for the dome light, I think you'll probably have to wire it to something closer to the front.
