I just got mine on Saturday and it had the grey valance the dealer told me that the are sending the color matched bumper valances only to those who ask. otherwise it's the way they come. They also added that it wasn't a defect that made them do this, but all the whining done by us Proud F150 Sport owners with the mutli colored trucks Haaa!!!
But if you have a little extra cash
Order the Lightning!!! frontcover instead

B777 - What did the dealer say?? Exactly this I am sorry sir we will have that painted before you pickup the truck. And thats what they did - and I must say it looks great!

I picked up my truck last week. It has the grey lower valence, but looks good with the rest of the truck which is black. I can imagine that it wouldn't look so good with the red or white colors.

I'm really pleased with the truck, other than it took forever to get to the dealer. By my estimates it took about 5 weeks to get from the factory to the dealer.

I thought the grey valence looked sharp against the black paint. It's a great match to the bed rail caps & factory tonneau cover. I can't picture how it might look, painted to match the body. I'd love to see it. If there's a picture available, please post the link.

I have a 99 f-150 XL. I got it on the 15 of july. It's got the sport package and the nascar options. Its bright red with a yellow stripe that starts at the front of the truck an ends a foot from the frnt of bed and it says NASCAR official truck in the stripe. I thought the gray on the bumper looked good. I like what the sport package does. I can't find any info about the NASCAR option though. I know it adds the stripe, leather wraped wheel, and special seat cover. If any body has any info about it please tell me. thanks
