Post Primer

I am will be cleaning up some rust in the next couple of weekends and I was wondering what is the best primer to use? The rust reoccurs every year, and I am looking into getting some good primer to hold back the rust a little longer.

I've always used "Rustoleum" brand when trying to fight rust. Never tried anything else. (my .02)
I've even used their hi-temp barbeque paint on my headers. It worked! Limited choice of colors though (no Ford blue or Mopar orange)
Good luck

I use dupli-color sandable primer it holds up
pretty good you did not mention were the rust is at but if you are talking about the
97/98 ford f-150"s and you say you keep
touching up ever year then you would have to be talking about the inside door bottoms if
you are i used navel jelly rust remover then
i primed it heavy and then i applied a joint
and seam sealer available at auto paint supply stores and then color coated and applied a clear coat i also put on front mud
flaps they really help! if your not talking about rust on this part then you better check
i will bet its there!
