I've been reading all of the posts about door cracks at the lower rear of the window. My '97 also has these cracks and it is obviously out of warrenty.

Will Ford fix these cracks?
Will this cost me any $$$?
Is there a TSB?

no it wont cost you any money and yes they have to fix them. you can also get the tsb report from this site look on the right hand side of this site and you will see where it says recalls and tsb. the people on this site are pretty good at keeping up with the recalls and tsb's.

 

Good luck getting Ford to pay for anything, lately they have been just pretty much saying 'tough $#!t!' They should do something, it may end up costing you 20% of the total fix price, and you have to harrass them really bad to even get that. Lots of people haven't even got Jack from any dealer.
