Unhappy Body Leans

On level ground, when viewed from the rear, the driver side of my truck looked lower. So I measured it and found it 3/4" lower than the passenger side. Anyone experience this problem and what might be causing it?

yep, I used to have the same problem with my truck. Dealer said it was 'within limits'. Something like 1.5 inches is limit. I greatly reduced the lean by putting the truck on a lift (pads on the frame) and letting the suspension hang for a while while I did an oilchange and tire rotation. After that the lean was mostly gone.

I had that happen to a car I owned a while back. I replaced the coil springs and shocks to correct the problem.

During the installation I discovered that the lower side had a blown out shock absorber. The worn out shock absorber apparently caused that one coil spring to sag more than the one with the good shock. Go figure.

I had that problem on the front. The passenger side sat about 1" lower that the driver side. A few turns on the magic torsion bars & a front wheel alignment just to be safe--Presto! The truck sits level. Lots of torsion bar info here. Just do a search.

I had a 97 Super Cab, 4x4 that had the same lean on Drivers side. Traded for a 98 Super Cab, 4x4, same thing. My 2000 SC sets level? Never did know what was wrong with the first two?
