I have a 1998 extended cab with the three door. I get alot of road noise from the two door (passenger side) of the truck. anyone else have this same problem and if so how did you solve it?

 

My truck is the same way. I never have done anything about it.

 

I a problem with wind noise at the tops of the doors when the wind was gusting across the road or when a Semi passed going the other way. Took it to the local Ford Dealer, Tech came out, rolled down the windows, set his knee on the door above the inside handle, grabbed the top of the door frame, gave it two good jerks inside, that was the complete repair to my wind noise. Every once in awhile I perform the same as he did and it ends the wind noise at the top of the doors.

If it is just general road type noise all of the time check further in this board. I can't remember who, but someone had added insulation to the insides of all of the exterior panels in the cab. I think it was a kit of some sort.
