My 99 F150 has the same grill & grill shell as the picture in the upper right corner of this (F150 online) page. Can anybody tell me the name of this type of grill, and has anyone ever installed an after market grill with this setup.

 

Hi nun67. Somehow, that grille got the name 'EggCrate' the other grille in '99 was nicknamed the 'Honeycomb'.

I'm still have the stock grille but there's lot's of aftermarket 'grille' posts here. Many have done it. Try a search in the 'aftermarket' forum. I'm sure you'll get lots of hits.
