Question distance between holes in quaterpanel

hey all, i have been wanting to install those clear turn signals on my truck. i want to take off my f150 badges on the front quater panels and put them there..ONLY IF I DONT NEED TO MODIFY MY QUATERPANELS....I MEAN ARE THE TWO HOLES THAT ARE IN BACK OF THE BADGE FOR ALIGNMENT CLOSE ENOUGH SO THAT THE LIGHTS WILL COVER THEM UP or do i have to hire someone to use bondo to fill up the holes.....so what im really asking is by any chance does anyone know the distance from hole to hole on the quaterpanel(farthest pionts) that are used to align the badges..thanxs

The distance between the pins (I have an F-150 badge in hand) is just at 6-3/4 inchs, and the pins are not on line - one is at the top left corner of the 'F' and the other is at the lower right corner of the '0' . . . !

Going to have to be a rather large light to cover the holes! The oval LED side marker lights I got from JCW are about 3 inchs short . . . don't know what I'm going to do with them yet, but I'll think of something.

The install that was done with the BMW lights is a real class job, but I don't know if I want to go that route! Probably could not do it as well, get a case of the butt and have these extra holes in my fenders that I would have find a way to cover or fill . . . !

Good luck with whatever you decide to do and keep us informed . . .
