Looking for specific type of Tonneau cover

I just want to start looking into tonneau covers for my truck.

What I'm looking for is a soft tonneau where the Bows roll with the cover. I also hate breaking snaps.

I'd like to still be able to keep my bed caps and add some Bars along the side with it installed but still not sure I'm going to put them on at all. So it can be one for inthe bed or over the top.

Thanks for your time!

I searched around alot and the downey SST from this web site is good to go! It has square snaps that don't have to be alligned and it is very easy to remove and install. Of course it is an over the top cover. Good luck on your search!!

Sound like you're looking for an Access Cover. You can still add some bars if you like, it mounts to the inside of the bed rails via clamps, and the bows are attached to the underneath side of the cover so when you roll it up the bows roll up also. I see you're from NW Wisconsin, having lived in MN for the past 16 years I know how the winters are, these covers are made in Jamestown ND and hold up well in the extreme cold and heat variations. There is also tension adjusters at the front of the cover to keep it tight during these temperature changes. Hope this helps.

dreamin,

eswartz is exactly right. i have the access cover and couldn't be happier with it. plenty of room for bars and my stuff has stayed completely dry through several heavy rains. the access is higher than the others, but i looked for over a year and decided this is a great cover. btw, i'm getting a little better mileage, too...good luck, rich.

Thumbs up Access Cover

The Access Cover I bought for my truck is the best mod yet. I had a Craftec Soft Hatch (95 Dakota), Extang (84 F150), and my boss has a ******** Hard cover on his F305 SD. The Access blows them all away!!

Dsiesen;
Here are a few pics of my Access Limited roll-up cover - - part # BA 124-1-FSC from a local Memphis distributor: Delta Shelters, 5148 Elmore RD, Suite #6, Memphis, TN, 38134, PH: 901-372-6326. Cost: $403.00 for the "Limited" including freight. Some members have gotten for as low as $335. Install was easy and I'm very pleased with the unit. Check my signature for a link to their web site. You'll like the cover !

Thumbs up

I have the Truxedo truck cover. It is similar to the Access cover but costs less. IMO it looks better and I have had mine for a while now and I too did research for a long time before buying one. Check them out at
www.truxedo.com

They have excellent customer service and install took all of 30 minutes. I am truly happy with mine. Check out the attachment. You will see I have bed rails and this is why I choice the Truxedo as it has a lower profile than the Access cover.
