You can find someone to fix that for you with a welder. An example, I found an old garden cart for a lawn tractor that the previous person put rock salt in, and it ate right through it.
Went to my local metal shop, got some flat steel the same thickness, got my grinder cut off tools and went to work. About an hour later I welded everything in, and gave it a couple coats of paint... good as new.
Depends on what you want to do. Anything metal can be repaired... just depends on how much time you are willing to invest.
