This is how my truck sits now. The black pillar panels are scratched up from years of storage and the occasional washing after sitting. My mom and her husband stored the truck while I was in the military. I am not mad about the scratches, just bummed. I was thinking about painting them to match the body color. Opinions are appreciated. I am thinking of painting them white to match the truck, but then I think it might be interesting to paint them black or the color of the lower body. I found a paint supplier who can match the factory color in aerosol cans. How should I prep these for paint? Any thoughts on the color?
