There is a little spring that opens the cover to flip it up and the spring popped out and fell down inside the dash. I took the cover off and now I need to know how to fix it can anyone help me out?

 

Do you have any Pull A Parts, U-Pull It, LKQ salvage yards nearby? Sometimes those type places are great resources for small interior pieces like that. Or try Ace hardware clip spring section for a replacement spring.
