How to straighten bumper. Need help!
I have a 1995 f150. Someone rear ended me and my bumper is a bit off now. The bracket is not bent, but the bracket is just not straight with the frame. I was going to try and break the nut loose with a breaker bar and some PB blaster, but when i got under there i saw that the nut was rounded. What can i do to get this straightened out? I will put a few pictures up tomorrow, so show you what i mean.
They rear ended you........ hy are you sweating it? I'm hoping you have thier contact info, and insurance info? Either them or their insurance company is paying that bill. Why do it yourself?
It only takes a minor tweak to a bumper bracket to show exadurated results at the outside ends of a bumper. Loosen all the bumper bracket bolts, have a buddy on each side hold it exactly where you want it, and tighten everything back up. On a 17 year old truck, it might be a chore to loosen those bolts. WD40 every day for a week could be your friend before attempting to loosen.

Well, i wasnt exactly rear ended by a car. I buddy of mine backed into it with his tractor, i didnt really care then. But im fixing up the truck now. I know how to move/remove the bumper/bracket, but the bolt on the side that is really off is rounded. Ive been hitting it with PB blaster for a while now. All the other bolts move freely, but the one i need to loosen is rounded, so what do i do?
Good idea, ill see if i can do that.
